Meet the Team

We have lots of wonderful crafters and helpers at Dadesley, we are all a friendly bunch , see our faces below and find out a bit more about the team.

Michelle Dunn

I’m Michelle one of the Founder’s and Directors of Dadesley Crafting CIC. I started counted cross stitching as a teenager, but didn’t really get into crafting properly until 2018 when I started card making. This then developed into t-shirt and bag printing. My favourite type of crafting is mixed media.

Jane Denning

Hi, I’m Jane (known as “Paper Jane” as we also have a ’Fabric Jane’). I’m married to fellow Volunteer Nik and I like card and paper crafts, genealogy … and cake!!! (My downfall is the café next door!) and I’m one of the Directors of Dadesley Crafting CIC.

Nik Denning

Hi there, I’m Nik, (married to Paper Jane, hence my introduction to DC). Being a Handyman I enjoy woodwork, making and renovating things and I love anything with an engine and I’m one of the Volunteers ‘Voluntolds’ for Dadesley Crafting CIC.

Jane Gillott

Hi, apparently I’m Jane with the short hair (there’s a few Jane’s) I love dogs and volunteer as a respite foster carer for guide dogs. I have been a volunteer at Dadesley Crafting since summer 2022 and have really enjoyed all the cake on offer in Flourish café.

Jo Lunn

Hi, I’m Jo. I’m one of the Directors at Dadesley Crafting. I like to paint, wet felt and trying out the different crafts at Dadesley that I’ve been introduced to by Michelle and the great team she has supporting her.

Annette

Hi, I’m Annette one of the directors at Dadesley Crafting. An avid crochet and knitter you will often find me in one of my many classes. A good ball of wool and a cup of tea in a warm and friendly environment, it’s a great place to be. x

Steve Gillott

Hi I’m Steve and I volunteer running Dadesley Model Railway. I enjoy walking and holidays in our Caravan.

Christine Taylor

My name is Christine Taylor, and I’m one of the Directors at Dadesley Crafting. I started going to craft and chat approx. 20 months ago and started the 4 week beginners crochet course. I found craft and chat so friendly and it really did give me more confidence and I gained more craft skills. I really enjoy crocheting and Crystal art. I have been a volunteer since November and you will find me volunteering in the shop on Saturdays.

Julz

Hi, I’m Julz a volunteer at Dadesley Crafting. I have a head full of ideas and love to chat about all things crafty, in-fact I just love to chat about anything! I volunteer with a great bunch of people who make everyone feel welcome regardless of their abilities.

Linda

Hi, my name is Linda. I retired from work a few years ago. I was admin for Young Onset Dementia with RDASH. I’ve settled into retirement enjoying craft work and keeping fit. I enjoy the outdoors. I did the Festival Fever Blanket last year and now I’m becoming a volunteer. Looking forward to doing more CAL’s going forwards and helping anyone if I can.
